Shirley Mae Venn

Shirley Venn was born December 4, 1935 in Okemah, Oklahoma to Coleman and Margaret

(Stanley) Dotson. She entered her eternal home on August 13 while a resident at Brookdale

Memory Center in Claremore, Oklahoma. The last church she attended was Crowell

Heights Baptist Church in Tulsa.

Shirley graduated from Butner High School in 1967. She went on to obtain her beauty

license and worked as a beautician. She later moved to Broken Arrow and went to work at

General Telephone where she retired. After her retirement, she enjoyed playing bunko,

attending horse racing with her husband and being involved in the Claremore Red Hat

Society.

Shirley married Raymond Venn on August 31, 1975 in Broken Arrow, OK.

She was proceeded in death by her Father, Mother, Brother, and Sister.

Survivors include sons Randy Alley and wife Karen of Broken Arrow, OK, son Tom Alley and

wife Lisa of Verdigris, OK. Step Daughters Terri Summers, Tina Venn and Tammy Falleaf all

of Bartlesville, OK.

In addition she had, 10 grandkids and 17 great grandkids. Plus many other family members

and friends.

A public viewing will be Monday, August 17 from 6:00pm to 7:00pm at the MMS-Payne

Funeral home in Claremore, Oklahoma. Her final resting place will be at Oakhaven

Memorial Gardens in the Veterans Field of Honor
