Stella Katherine Forbus went home to be with the Lord on April 24, 2016 at the age of 80.

The daughter of Ira and Stella C'debaca Blanchfill was born July 4, 1935 in Eminence, Missouri. As a young girl she and her family moved often. Living in places such as Albuquerque, New Mexico and Springfield, Missouri before settling in Lincoln, Arkansas. There she would attend Lincoln schools, graduating with the class of 1953. She married Thomas F. Landsaw. To this marriage four children were born, Linda, Niki, Teresa and Tommy.

The family moved to Inola in the late 1950's. Stella was a single mom working long hours to take care of her children. During the day she worked at warehouse market, where she worked herself into management. She spent many nights, after taking care of her children, ironing laundry for many local residents. Working hard was the only way Stella knew how to live. However this didn't keep her from teaching her children about the Lord and taking them to church. Faithfully.

In 1972 Stella met and married Arlon "Speck" Forbus. They continued living in Inola where they ran the Wagon Wheel Ranch. For over 20 years Stella and Speck ran the ranch, working side by side.

Stella gave her life to the Lord in 1983, and served faithfully for the rest of her life. She taught Sunday school for over 24 years.

Then in 1992 Stella took a job working for Catoosa Public Schools in the food service department. She retired from there in 2003.
In her spare time Stella loved walking with her friend Lajuan. She also enjoyed listening to music, especially Elvis, crocheting, doing ceramics, cooking and planting flowers.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Ira and Stella Blanchfill; brother, Ira Blanchfill and sister, Elsa Wilson; daughter, Teresa Landsaw;

Survivors include her children, Linda Stemmons of Tulsa, Niki Rogers of Tulsa, and Tommy Landsaw and wife Janice of Inola; grandchildren, Brandi Shackelford, Aaron Rogers, Kashika Green, Gina Landsaw, Trevor Landsaw and Tori Argo; 7 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren and sister, Evelyn Childress and husband John of Salem Oregon, and many nieces and nephews.
