Susan Elizabeth (Peterson) Bedingfield Chelsea, OK

Susan Bedingfield passed away on Monday, September 28, 2026 surrounded by her loved ones. She was born on May 5,1958 in Puerto Rico to Bruce and Jean (Smith) Peterson. She attended Holland Hall Catholic School and Booker T Washington High School, and then Eastern Connecticut State University, where she earned her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology.. In her younger years, her love of horses led her to Equestrian Competitions and then on to teach the next generation of riders within the Tulsa area. Susan married the love of her life Richard Bedingfield on September 6, 1989 and they moved to Connecticut. After retiring from a career at Frontier Communications in 2024, she and Richard returned to Oklahoma.

Susan is survived by her husband Richard, sons Dax (Kami) Bedingfield, Andrew (Michelle) Bedingfield, both of Connecticut, daughter Jenafer (Mickey) Foreman of Oklahoma, sister Kathleen Freeman of Europe, sixteen grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and two nieces. She was preceded in death by both parents and brother David Peterson.
