Sylvia Priscilla Medlock was born on January 17, 1931, in Welch, Oklahoma to Myrl and Stella (Butler) Bump. She lived a life characterized by dedication, joy, and unwavering support for her family and community. Priscilla attended school in Inola, graduating with the class of 1948. It was during her younger years, while working in the cotton fields, that she met her future husband, Hueston Ray Medlock. Together, they established their home in Inola, where they lovingly raised their children.

Priscilla's career was rooted in her strong work ethic and commitment to her community. She purchased the Inola Laundry, where she worked for many years, ensuring that the town had a reliable place for their laundry needs. In addition to her role at the laundry, she assisted her husband in his machine shop, showcasing her versatility and willingness to contribute wherever needed.

A woman of vibrant spirit and character, Priscilla was known for her spunky personality. She firmly believed in honesty and integrity; those who knew her always felt they could count on her straightforwardness. This trait endeared her to many, making her a cherished friend and companion to all she encountered.

Throughout her life, Priscilla embraced the joys of family and the importance of education. She notably played a significant role in the lives of many in the community, having babyset most of the teachers' children in Inola, who affectionately referred to her as "grandma." Her loving influence left a lasting impression on these children, as well as everyone fortunate enough to cross paths with her. Priscilla was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and loved taking care of the children in the nursery.

An avid reader, Priscilla always had something on hand, whether it was a novel or the local newspaper. Her love for reading complemented her fondness for family gatherings, especially during the holidays, when a house full of loved ones brought her the greatest joy.

Priscilla is survived by her children, Linda Lemon, Judith Baldridge and her husband Bob, Lea Ann Watson, and Jim Medlock and his wife Janie. She was also the proud grandmother and great-grandmother to a multitude of grandchildren, as well as a loving sister to Shirley Bobock.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Myrl and Stella Bump, her husband, Hueston Medlock, her son, Tom Medlock, her siblings, Dale Bump, Charlotte Spurlock, Richard Bump, and Leo Bump, as well as her sons-in-law, Jim Lemon and Rick Watson.

Priscilla will be remembered not only for her contributions to her family and community but also for the love and warmth she brought into the lives of so many.
