Theodore Benjamin Williams Jr., 88, of Bixby, Oklahoma, passed away on August 2, 2025.
Born on August 30, 1936, in Bixby to Theodore Benjamin Williams Sr. and Mavis Mae Williams, Theodore grew up in Pryor, Oklahoma, where he attended Pryor Public Schools. He continued his education at Northeastern Oklahoma College before graduating from the University of Tulsa in 1964.
Theodore built a long and successful career in sales, working with multiple companies in the electrical supply industry. Even after retiring, he continued to share his expertise as a consultant.
A devoted husband, father, and grandfather, Theodore lived a full life marked by his many passions. He loved watching University of Tulsa football, playing horseshoes, and woodworking. One of his proudest accomplishments was winning the gold medal in horseshoes at the Senior Olympics. He also enjoyed coaching his sons in football and baseball, traveling with his family to Eureka Springs, and journeying across the United States for horseshoe competitions. A lifelong St. Louis Cardinals fan, Theodore always looked forward to baseball season.
Above all else, Theodore treasured the time spent with his family, creating memories they will carry forever.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Theodore Sr. and Mavis Williams and granddaughter Joy Beams.
He is survived by his loving wife Loy Williams of 68 years; His children, Ted and Janet Williams, Tony and Brenda Williams, Tina and Turner Kindred and many grandchildren and great grandchildren, who will miss him dearly.
