Todd Andrew Jochims was born in Sioux City, Iowa on June16, 1964 to Bob and Louetta Jochims. Five years later they moved to Ida Grove, Iowa, He graduated high school in 1983. Later attended Heavy Equipment School. Then moved to Oklahoma in the late 80s. Todd came to Utility Cable June of 1994 where he worked as a dump truck driver and communications installer until 2006. He then moved to the Tri-Star operations where he began as a logistics coordinator and started his legendary status. He made countless friends in the roll off business. Todd made everyone feel special whether it be customers, competitors and especially his landfill family.
He was one of a kind to all who knew and loved him and will be missed dearly. He truely had a heart of gold. Todd loved collecting coins, riding his gas-powered bicycles and searching for valuables in trash that he could quickly sell and make a buck. He was funny, quick witted, and always had a joke ready for any situation. One of Todd's biggest accomplishments was taking pride in raising his two boys Ryan and Nick by himself and made sure they never went without. Mostly, he loved spending time with his granddaughters. He loved spending his hard-earned money by taking them on shopping sprees, watching them cheerlead, and out to Chili's. If you knew Todd, you got several pictures of his granddaughters texted to you weekly. He loved them with all his heart and was so proud of them.
He is survived by his mother Louetta, sons Ryan and wife Aly Jochims of Claremore, Nick Jochims and partner Dean of Colorado, granddaughters Anberlin and Ember Jochims, Brother Bobby and sister in law Mary Jochims of Oologah, Sister Valerie and brother in law Mark Gamble of Iowa, many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father Bob.
