Trilla Faye Coe

A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, September 23, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at the MMS-Payne Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 22, 2022 family will greet the friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Trilla Faye Coe passed away on September 19th, 2022 she was 83 years old. Trilla was born in Coodys Bluff in Nowata, Ok to Albert Wayne Jackson and Henryetta Jane Jackson. She attended Nowata Public Schools and graduated in the class of 1956. During her high school years she met the love of her life Philip Coe at the skating rink in Nowata on New Year’s Eve in 1956. The couple was married a year later and settled down in Nowata, Ok to start their family.

In 1967 they moved to Claremore, Oklahoma so Trilla could continue her education at the Oklahoma Military Academy where she graduated among the first co-ed class. She later finished her college education at Northeastern State University where she graduated with a double Master's degree in Education and Counseling. Trilla worked at Claremore- Sequoyah Public schools for 30 years as a Kindergarten and 3rd grade teacher.

Trilla was one of the most accepting people you could ever meet with a sweet, kind and loving heart. She was a very artistic person, who loved crafts, painting, scrap booking, and cake decorating. She especially loved going on road trips across the country with Phillip and cherished their annual night out at the ice capades and the Tulsa State Fair to celebrate their Anniversary. Trillas greatest love above everything else was her grandchildren and great- grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents Albert Wayne Jackson and Henryetta June Jackson; Sisters Lowree Howard, Mary Hamilton, Rose Luna, Loretta May Taylor, H.T. Jackson and Hubert Jackson.

Trilla is survived by her husband Philip Coe; daughters Cindy Loncarich and husband Joe, Christy Armbrister and husband Eddy; son Kirby Coe and Natasha Wooten and Sister Fern Barrowman. Grandchildren; Barrett and wife Becca, Jeffrey, Ashley and partner Jill, Kelsey and husband Robert, Ty and wife Katie, Seth and wife Chelsea, Zackree, Jeremy and wife Valerie, Tyler and wife Lindsey Kasey, Garrett, Shelby and partner Desiree; great-grandchildren, Lane, Andrew, Abby, Bryant, Kirby Nolan, Greyson, Ethan, Zoe, Carson, Frederick, Cala and nephew Rick Standeford and wife Debora.
