William Earl Hensley Jr. passed away on October 4, 2024. Earl was born to William Earl Hensley Sr. and Charlene Virginia Hensley in Claremore, Oklahoma. He grew up attending Tiawah Schools and later graduated from Collinsville High School.
Earl worked as a carpenter for much of his life, but his true passion was being a horse jockey and racehorse trainer. He found immense joy in the world of horse racing. In his free time, he loved catfishing with his friends and taking trips to Fort Gibson Lake. Country music was a favorite of his, often turning the volume all the way up and busting a move.
Earl and Connie married on March 8, 1991 sharing many years together. His daughter, Raegan, was the center of his world. He adored watching her play basketball and taking her to barrel races but mostly telling her “what the main thing is” after every game. His grandson, Kayd, brought him great happiness, and watching him play soccer was a cherished part of Earl's life.
He is preceded in death by his father, William Earl Hensley Sr.
Earl is survived by his wife, Connie Hensley; daughter, Raegan Breshears; his mother, Charlene Applegate; his sisters, Joyce Griffen and Lisa Hughes; and his grandson, Kayd Hensley
