William Kenneth Millikin

February 9, 1934 — August 27, 2021

William Kenneth "Kenny" Millikin passed away on August 27th, 2021. He was 86 years old. Kenny was born on February 9,1934 in Claremore Oklahoma to Harvey and Edith Millikin.

A lifetime Claremore native, Kenny was also known as "Rox" to family and old friends. He attended Claremore Schools. After high school he met the love of his life, Max Evelyn Kreps.
The couple married in 1953 and had 68 wonderful years together. He worked for Rockwell International in Tulsa in the early years, and was a part of the Apollo Space Project during the 1960's.
After his career at Rockwell, he started a new career with the Claremore Fire Department in 1970. He spent 25 years there, holding all ranks including Assistant Chief. before retiring in 1995.
He also, along with a good friend and fellow Firefighter Mike Melton, owned and operated M&M Electric in Claremore. They worked for many contractors in Claremore in new home construction.

Kenny absolutely loved life, and always lived it to the fullest!  He loved fishing at Oologah Lake and Grand Lake with his fishing buddy Mike Melton. He also loved camping in Branson with his
wife Max and the grand kids when they could come. Another favorite thing he loved, was attending Sprint car races! He enjoyed that for many years..  Kenny was a devoted husband, dad,
grandfather and great grandfather.  He is preceded in death by his parents, Harvey and Edith Millikin, Sister Monica Reavis, grandsons, Coy Millikin and Jacob Millikin.

Kenny is survived by his wife Max Millikin; children Darrell Millikin and wife Terry, Rhonda Conger and husband Gary; grandchildren, Zach Millikin and wife Glenda, Dylan Conger and wife Kelsey,
Lacey Millikin and Stevey Milligan; great grandchildren Caleb Millikin, Eli Millikin, Lola Conger, Lucy Conger, Kash Milligan and Tinley Eason.
