Visitation for William Robert "Will" Padgitt will take place on Thursday, August 13, 2026, from 2 pm to 7 pm, with the family greeting friends from 4 pm to 7 pm at MMS-Payne Funeral Home. A private family service will be held at a later date. Will passed away on Saturday, August 8, 2026, at the age of 63.

Born in Tucson, Arizona, on November 20, 1962, to Marvin Dale and Grace Carranza Padgitt, Will moved to Claremore early in life. He graduated from Claremore High School in 1981. During his school years, he worked at Green Country Machine and went on to a fulfilling career at Burgess Norton that lasted 26 years. Later, he furthered his career at Tulsa Centerless, CF Industries, and concluded at Baker Hughes.

On June 9, 1984, Will married Kathy Garrison, establishing their home in Claremore. Together, they raised two sons, emphasizing hard work and community service.

Will was renowned for his generosity, always ready to lend a hand. He enjoyed working in his garage, often fixing his sons’ bikes as well as those of neighborhood children. Known for his meticulousness, his garage was a testament to his organized nature. His sense of humor brightened the lives of those around him. Will delighted in watching western shows, NASCAR races, and supporting his beloved OU team. Above all, he cherished time with his family, especially his treasured grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife of over 42 years, Kathy Padgitt; his sons, William Dale Padgitt and Robert Neal Padgitt; his grandchildren, Ryleigh Jo Padgitt and Ryder William Padgitt; his sisters, Debbie Lawson (and husband Vic) and Cindy Headrick (and husband Mike). He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Sylvia Maupin, and nephew Bradley Headrick.
