Zachary Robert Baer

Zachary Robert Baer, born on September 18, 1990, in Claremore, Oklahoma, passed away on August 12, 2026, at the age of 35. His adventurous spirit and unique approach to life were evident in his love for playing the guitar, singing, and mastering video games. He found joy in fishing and riding motorcycles, always marching to his own beat.

Zach attended Sequoyah for his education, where he cultivated many lifelong passions and friendships. He is lovingly remembered by his children, Zaylynn and Luke Baer, his mother Anita Thompson, his brother Chadlee Ketchum, and his sisters Desiree Arneecer and Cheree Thompson. He will also be missed by his grandfather Luke Thompson, his grandparents Lori and Robin Smith, and Robert Baer, as well as his nieces Shaylee, Avacyn, and nephew Lokee. Zach's family and numerous friends remember him fondly.

Preceded in death by his father, Robert Baer, and his grandmother, Trudy Thompson, Zach's legacy continues through the lives he touched.

Visitation will take place from 4pm to 7pm on Tuesday, August 18, 2026, at MMS-Payne Funeral Home.
